While we all know Sarantos is the place you’d rather be, our wines are actually named after Sarantos Moularadellis, who immigrated to Australia in the 1950's, bringing with him centuries of Mediterranean winemaking tradition.

Sarantos found sun-drenched Australia similar in so many ways to the Mediterranean lifestyle and also discovered Australians shared his great passion for enjoying food and wine al fresco.

So he created his wines to be fresh and easy-drinking in style so they perfectly partnered so many different foods at so many different occasions. Here’s cheers to you Sarantos.
