The 2009 Sarantos Merlot is a rich vibrant deep crimson colour and the nose displays notes of blueberry, floral violet and mint. You will also witness some herbaceous notes. The palate displays dark cherry, Christmas cake, blueberry and plum. Medium bodied with bright fruit and soft tannins. It has great length and a very subtle cream oak finish. The ideal partners for Sarantos Merlot are seasoned roast chicken, pasta and Mediterranean seafood dishes including Tuna Risotto.
